Jeremy Sleith of the newly formed St Helens Music Service, attended our meeting last week. He described the new opportunities open to enthusiastic and skilled practitioners in the Borough.

He is seeking to appoint a team of experienced instrumental specialists to deliver Wider Opportunities programmes within the Borough’s Primary Schools. He said, "This presents an exciting opportunity to inspire and encourage children in the joys and benefits of learning to play a musical instrument as part of our year-long music programme in schools. We currently have vacancies for Brass, Strings, Woodwind and Percussion tutors."

He also needs an experienced Vocal Animateur to champion and develop singing and the use of the voice within the three Find Your Talent areas of the Borough.
