Music net workshops in search of funding

Our workshops came to a grand finale today with the last session. This pilot project was funded by NHS Halton & St Helens through their Bright Ideas funding scheme. We wanted to see if we could demonstrate a link between music and wellbeing. We're just going through all the evaluation forms now, but we already know that everyone who took part had a great time. We were all inspired.
Here's a small section of video showing a small section of one of the sessions:
Thanks to our music leaders Steve and Tim and to our volunteers Joyce and Jez. Thank you to Catalyst Studios for the use of their wonderful rehearsal rooms - the venue definitely helped us all to feel that this was a special project.
And of course a huge thank you to all our participants. We wouldn't want to pick anyone out as everyone contributed so much. But we have to give a special mention to the drummer for the season - Lady, who had never used drums before but certainly has a natural talent.
If you would be interested in joining in when we get more funding (not if! we're determined), do get in touch via the contact form.
