Is seeking to recruit a YOUTH ARTS WORKER

Hours: 17.5 per week

Salary: £17,053 - £18,922 p.a. (Pro rata)

JNC Pt. 7-10

Fixed Term Contract to: 31st December 2010

We are looking a Youth Arts Worker to deliver a Youth Arts Programme in the SPACE Centre, Marsh Lane, Bootle. This exciting facility includes a large performance space, a rehearsal space, green room, multi media area, recording studio and coffee bar area.

The post will include planning, delivering and evaluating arts based youth work programmes including outreach work, group work, workshops and accreditation.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with young people in an arts related field and will be highly organised and able to work in partnership with the local community, young people’s organisations and arts agencies.

TRANSIENT YOUTH WORK PROJECT

Is seeking to recruit a YOUTH WORKER

Salary: £17,053 p.a.-£18,922 p.a.

JNC point 7-10

Hours: 35 per week

(will include some evenings and possible weekend work)

Fixed Term Contract funded to 31st March 2010

Merseyside Youth Association is seeking to recruit a Youth Worker to provide information, advice and support to young people aged 11-25 within the Door Centre in Hanover Street, Liverpool, and opportunities for young people who use the City Centre in a transient way. The successful candidate will hold a recognised qualification at least to NVQ Level 3 in a subject related to Young People, together with experience of working with young people. Experience of planning, delivering and evaluating group work programmes and informal learning opportunities for young people are essential.
