Autumn & Winter @ The Citadel

New from the Citadel for their 21st birthday season!

"We’ve something for everyone, with the legendary songwriter Midge Ure on Friday 28th August, Brit award winning Finley Quaye in September, Edgar Jones’ Freepeace plus Mark Morriss of The Bluetones in October, and Squeeze front man Glenn Tilbrook in November.

Blues highlights include, Eddie & the Hotrods, Nine Below Zero, Danny Bryant’s Redeye Band and The Animals & Friends.

Folk fans have An Evening with PJ and Peggy, the Phil Beer Band, Eliza Carthy, plus the up and coming Wirral band Elbow Jane to get excited about.

We’ve even got a bit of Country with Los Pacaminos, featuring Paul Young; you definitely won’t want to miss that!

Only the very best tribute bands take to our stage with Think Floyd, The Clone Roses and Desperado.

We continue to showcase home grown talent with St.Helens Born and Bred, Good Times and Rubberneck. Plus the now infamous The Lancashire Hotpots return in March.

Once again the Hands On @ The Citadel team present another fabulous Community Christmas Pantomime, The Snow Queen. Adapted from the story by Hans Christian Andersen this is a good versus evil magical adventure all the family will enjoy.

Finally, why not join the party? We want you to be part of the celebration at our 21st Birthday Open Day on Saturday 14th November; everyone is invited!

See you there.
