Maracas World Record
Hi guys,
Just want to tell you about a fantastic event taking place next Wednesday 10 February 2010. The pupils and staff of Blackbrook St Mary's Primary school in Chain Lane St Helens will be attempting to break the world record for the Largest Maracas Ensemble. The record is currently held by Bez of the Happy Mondays who set it at 407 for the launch of the radio station XFM.
We should with all involved beat that at around 430. The event will be attended by St Helens Mayor, Mr Terry Shield, who in his year as our Mayor has tirelesly supported every musical event we have had.
If anyone has any maracas going spare and would like to donate them, please post news of that here and I will arrange pick up.
Tune in next week when I let you know how we got on.
Ian
