I need an act!

I need an act!

Hey, I'm looking for someone to perform at the end of an awards ceremony (for perhaps an hour or two) which will have guests aged 16 to 'quite a bit older'? Puzzled Any suggestions for someone local with crossover appeal who won't cost the earth? There's free rein on the type of music though I'm not sure death metal would go down too well.

I need an act!

Hi, can you give me some more details please when, where and a rough idea how much you want to spend we can supply a two, three, or four piece set up covering a wide range of styles................. definately not 'death metal'!

Need an Act

Hi, if you get stuck have you thought of having a disco. I run my own mobile and if you tell me the date and venue I will check my availability. I am very experienced and have excellent gear, not your usual muffled microphone DJ.

Cheers, Ian

I need an act

The event is not till October at Haydock Racecourse, I could get back to you on a price hopefully by the middle of next week (though the lower the better). As for style, MOR all the way, in the past there has been an Elvis impersonator and a C&W-esque act amongst others. The range of guests is literally 16 to 80 so it's to suit a broad audience. Does this help???

haydock

We can supply a jazz/soul/pop set (any combo),and/or a gospel choir if that's any use to you.

please contact l.wellens@btinternet.com

Sounds good. I sing

Sounds good. I sing contemporary pop-r&b-soul, and can throw in some soul & r&b classics too. Both original material and covers. Have a listen at MySpace page and see what you think... The url is www.myspace.com/JosephineGraceMusic

Thanks

I'm going to put these kind offers and suggestions to the others involved in planning the event. Thanks for your help in this...
