For anyone who likes a great singer songwriter in action and wants to support local talent then October 15 and 16 are 2 dates you need to mark in your diary.
First off on October 15 at the Living Room Liverpool and the following night at the Living Room Manchester there is an artist called Edwin McCain see: http://www.edwin.com/ he is a top American singer and a mate of mine Pete Riley from Liverpool has been playing guitar and writing with him as well as touring for at least 6 months a year in the States and amazingly they are going to be here on those nights.
Believe me it will be a gig worth going to and its free but be early Pete has a huge following in the Pool. Just for the record Edwin had a platinum selling single in the States Called I'll Be which was voted America's number one wedding song and he was also featured more on American Idol a couple of years ago more than any other artist, a real testiment to how huge he is over there.
