Two young bands that came through the YOU PLAY event at The Citadel
and were part of a 3 month scheme at MAPP are to open up
this years Eclectica Festival on Sat Aug 9th.
They are Ariel Chambers (St.Cuthberts) and Silent Thunder (St.Augustines)
Try and get along to support the towns young talent.
Definitely worth a press release if anyone can knock one together? "Local Music Network fosters St Helens talent"
As I've said before, when you've done something well you should let everyone know. Music.net could attract more funding and more support when people see the fruits of it's labour!
In fact how about asking the bands to be ambassadors of music.net? If they are up for it they could maybe do a press interview for you, talking about the role the YouPlay and music.net events played in their development. And, when you've got another couple of acts you could ask them to come back and do a showcase gig or similar at The Citadel?
