Our next music-net meeting will take place on Tuesday October 6th. Fay from the Citadel will tell us all about their new music project for young people in the Borough. This ambitious three year project will provide many opportunities for music practitioners as well as young people.

Jeremy Sleith of the newly formed St Helens Music Service, attended our meeting last week. He described the new opportunities open to enthusiastic and skilled practitioners in the Borough.

Alan Free and the St. Helens Sinfonietta were at their very best on Saturday evening in a concert called The French Connection, generously sponsored by the Rainford Trust. French composers of three centuries were “done proud” with highly committed interpretations.
